Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

DearValerie Returns

Here at DearValerie Boutique we understand that ordering online is not always easy. We want to make your online shopping experience as enjoyable as possible. We are happy to accept your returns for a store credit which can be used toward a future purchase. Store credit does not expire.

Our policy stands for 14 days, unfortunately if 14 days have gone by your return will be considered final sale and non-returnable.

To be eligible for a return your item must be within the following guidelines:

- Your item must be returned within 14 days of original shipment date.

- Your item must be unworn and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, undamaged. Any item returned that shows visible signs of wear there will be a 15% processing fee deducted from your store credit.

- DearValerie does not offer refunds or exchanges. If an item is returned store credit will be issued. (shipping fees are NOT refundable)

- If your item received was damaged upon receipt email dearvalerieboutique@gmail within 24-48 hours of receiving the package with photos attached.

- All items returned are at the customers expense, email us with details of reason for return and order number with your full name.

- A tracking number for the returned package must be obtained by the customer in case the package is lost in transit. Failure to do so may result in us not being unable to process your return.

    To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. An email must be sent to us including the tracking number and order number. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return for store credit.

    If you are approved, then your return will be processed, and a store credit will automatically be applied to you.

    Missing store credits
    If you haven’t received a store credit within 24 hours, check your spam or junk mail. Also, cross reference your email to ensure your email is accurate.

    If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your store credit, please contact us at dearvalerieboutique@gmail.com. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm EST. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response.

    Sale items- FINAL SALE
    Only regular priced items are eligible for store credit, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned (SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE).

    Defective/Damaged items
    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to return it for the same item, send us an email at dearvalerieboutique@gmail.com. We will accept the item and return it for the same item only.

    Gifts
    If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

    If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you, we will send a store credit to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

    Shipping
    To return your product, you should mail your product to: TBA, United States

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.

    If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

    DearValerie Boutique is not responsible for lost or missing returns. We also reserve the right not to credit you if your return is outside the terms of our Return Policy.
